Mr. Toma-Danila has more than 8 years of experience in the field of hazard, exposure, vulnerability and risk assessment, reflected through the topic of most of his papers and through the participation in important national and international projects such as TURNKEY, REDACt, SERA, RO-RISK, BIGSEES or DACEA. He contributed to the development and is the administrator of INFP’s Seisdaro System, capable of generating maps at commune/city level (more detailed for Bucharest) reflecting the number of buildings and people potentially affected by an earthquake, 8-10 minutes after a moderate/major earthquake in Romania. He also has contributions in the analysis of risk induced by natural hazards on transportation networks, at systemic level; he is the main developer of the Network-risk toolbox and framework. He is also one of the creators of the Mobile Earthquake Exhibition (MOBEE) and an organiser of events providing education and raising awareness about seismic risk in Romania, being also a mentor in the Magurele Science and Technology Summer School. His capability to provide applicative solutions in seismology is reflected through the development of products such as the BIGSEES Earthquake Catalogue and Geological Database, the Romanian focal mechanism catalogue (REFMC), the digital guided tour “Bucharest and earthquakes”, the storymap Earthquakes in Romania and their effects or the Map of Earthquakes in Romania (ISBN 978-973-0-18054-1). He is author or co-author of more than 22 articles in journals with impact factor and indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection, and also of 20 conference proceedings articles indexed in WoS and has contributed to 4 books.

Mr. Radulian is a senior researcher at INFP, having started its research here in 1979 and holding the position of Scientific Director in the 2000 – 2019 period. His main research topics are seismicity, seismic source, earthquake hazard and risk, microzonation, attenuation of seismic waves. Starting with 2021 he was appointed correspondent member of the Romanian Academy. He is peer reviewer at prestigious journals and he is also an associated professor at the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest. He contributed to many national and international research projects, among which SERA, SHARE and DACEA. He is author or co-author of more than 87 articles in journals with impact factor and indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection, and a total of 194 publications.
